The rules and guidelines for using Lytramap.

Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lytramap platform at lytramap.be, operated by Lytramap ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using Lytramap, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform. We recommend reading these Terms in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free & Pro Plans

Free Plan

The free plan includes access to offer browsing, platform directory, basic rate estimates, and community features. No credit card is required.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan provides additional features including full rate breakdowns with percentile analysis, Pimp Detector, market insights, advanced alerts, and PDF rate reports. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Mollie.

Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape or automate access — do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data from Lytramap without written permission.
  • Manipulate platform data — do not submit fake reviews, artificially inflate ratings, or manipulate recruiter reputation scores.
  • Harass or abuse — do not use the platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users, recruiters, or companies.
  • Circumvent security — do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or access restrictions.
  • Misuse AI features — do not use Pimp Detector or other AI features for purposes unrelated to legitimate freelance work.
  • Resell access — do not share your Pro account credentials or resell access to Lytramap features.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Intellectual Property

The Lytramap platform, including its design, code, algorithms, and content, is the intellectual property of Lytramap. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Job offer data displayed on Lytramap is aggregated from publicly available sources. We do not claim ownership of the original offer content. Original content you submit (reviews, ratings) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the platform.

AI Features & Pimp Detector

Lytramap uses artificial intelligence, including large language models via OpenRouter, to power features such as the Pimp Detector and CV skill extraction. Important disclaimers:

  • AI analysis results are informational only and should not be treated as legal, financial, or professional advice.
  • The Pimp Detector identifies potential middlemen based on pattern matching and AI analysis. Results may contain inaccuracies — always verify independently.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated output.
  • Recruiter messages submitted to Pimp Detector are processed by third-party AI providers. Do not submit sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for analysis.

Rate Estimation Disclaimer

Rate estimates provided by Lytramap are based on aggregated market data from publicly available job offers. These estimates:

  • Are indicative only and not guarantees of achievable rates.
  • May not reflect rates for specialized, niche, or senior roles where data is limited.
  • Are influenced by the quantity and recency of available offer data.
  • Should be used as one of many inputs in your rate negotiation, not as the sole basis for decisions.

Lytramap is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on our rate estimates.

Limitation of Liability

Lytramap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to Lytramap shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Belgian or EU law.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to other users or the platform. We will provide notice when possible, except in cases requiring immediate action.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Lytramap shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Lytramap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with changes, you should discontinue use and delete your account.
