Product owner "threat intelligence"

As Product Owner "Threat Intelligence", you manage our data streams regarding global cyber threats. Every day we receive masses of data about emerging and current threats. It is up to you to extract all relevant information that poses a potential or effective threat to the Flemish government services and to share this in a manageable way with our partners. In a nutshell, your tasks look as follows: Data Management – You are in contact with our data providers who share threat information from the worldwide web with us. You structure and optimize these data streams to process everything efficiently, with high quality, and in a timely manner. You document these processes and – in collaboration with your team lead – adjust the flows where necessary. Analysis – You analyze incoming data, correlate it with internal data sources, and accurately assess threat risks. You determine where and for whom this information is crucial. Speed and accuracy are vital; making confident decisions in an uncertain world does not deter you. Reporting – Your challenge? Your stakeholders are at different levels. You can therefore switch quickly between writing a management summary and developing technical threat reports for IT experts. The right tone, relevant content, and speed are important here. Service Provision and Directing Role – As product owner, you take on a directing role over the entire threat intelligence service. You monitor the coherence, quality, and further development of the service and actively make adjustments where necessary. You analyze and check the quality of the cyber threat intelligence platforms, data sources, and data streams used, and systematically bring them to a higher professional and maturity level. In this way, you contribute directly to stronger prevention of cyber incidents within the Flemish government. Knowledge Building and Assurance – You actively build knowledge within the CTI field and simultaneously ensure sustainable knowledge assurance within the organization. Concretely, this means that you document your expertise, methods, and processes, make them transferable, and train colleagues so that this knowledge can be structurally anchored within the organization. Demonstrable experience in developing and monitoring the vision and objectives of products, including monitoring the product strategy and product roadmap, in the interest of all stakeholders. Demonstrable training with certification (Product Owner/Manager) within Agile development methodology. Demonstrable experience with various Project Management facets (costs, timing, planning, estimates). Demonstrable experience with analyzing and defining requirements with all possible stakeholders and assessing their impact. Demonstrable experience with managing Product Backlog priorities. Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
